The Vermilion flycatcher (Pyrocephalus rubinus) is a small passerine bird in the tyrant flycatcher family. Most flycatchers are rather drab, but the vermilion flycatcher is a striking exception (well, the male is, the female is much less striking). The maximum size of this bird is around 15-18cm.
